Neuroendoscopy is a pair of "wisdom eyes" brought to our neurosurgeons by modern science and technology. The operation is performed under the supervision of an endoscope, which is very delicate, light trauma and good curative effect. It generally includes two surgical methods: endoscopic instrument channel operation and endoscopic external operation, often through bone holes or bone windows with a diameter of 2 to 3 cm to treat intracranial lesions.
The procedure of neuroendoscopy:
(1) Preoperative preparation
1. The environment is clean and quiet, and the clean air-conditioning system is turned on in advance to maintain suitable temperature and humidity.
2. Preparation of complete sets of neuroendoscopy equipment: ① Prepare rigid endoscopes with different viewing angles (0°, 30°, 45°, 70°, etc.); ② Check between medical monitors, endoscope camera systems, and image recording equipment Check whether the connection is firm; ③ Check whether the medical monitor, endoscope camera, medical cold light source, and image recording equipment can work normally; ④ Move the instruments and equipment to the side of the operating bed and place them on both sides of the patient's head for use.
3. Prepare neuroendoscope fixation frame, snake-shaped automatic retractor, etc.
4. Prepare neuroendoscopy auxiliary equipment including coagulation forceps, coagulation scissors, micro scissors, grasping forceps, balloon catheter, monopolar coagulation wire, bipolar coagulation wire, puncture scope sheath and perfusion tube.
5. Staff preparation The surgical staff should wash their hands after surgery, put on sterile isolation gowns, sterile gloves, etc.
(2) Intraoperative operation process
1. Check whether the power plug of each instrument and the connection between the instruments are in good condition.
2. Turn on the sterile equipment accessories and auxiliary equipment, and the hand-washing nurse properly fixes the sterile neuroendoscope camera data line, light guide, suction tube and coagulation line.
3. The hand-washing nurse handed the end of the instrument to the visiting nurse and inserted it into the corresponding socket of the device.
4. Turn on the power switches of the medical monitor, endoscope camera, medical cold light source, etc. in turn, and adjust the brightness for backup.
5. Connect the single and bipolar coagulation wires, first check whether the negative plate is properly pasted, connect the coagulation wires, and then turn on the bipolar coagulation and electric knife power switches. Adjust the output power for backup as needed.
6. Operation under the mirror.
7. After the operation, adjust the brightness of the light source and the power of electrocoagulation to the minimum, and then turn off the power switches of the cold light source, endoscope camera host, medical monitor, electrosurgical knife, electrocoagulation and other instruments in turn.
8. Pull out the camera data cable, light guide, coagulation cable and other accessories.
9. Clean and organize equipment.
10. Handle endoscopes, camera data cables, light guides, microscissors, grasping forceps, coagulation forceps, bipolar coagulation wires, etc. according to the specifications.
